Who we are
Charlie Energy S.r.l. (“we”) operates the Charlie AI Solution website at charlie-energy.com and www.charlie-energy.com. VAT and Companies' Register number 11888690960. REA MI-2629283. Sole director: Wang Charlie.
Data we collect
Contact data you choose to send: name, email address, organization, and message. The form on the contact page does not upload the message to our server. It opens your email application, addressed to charliewang@charlie-energy.com.
Technical logs from the web server: IP address, date and time, requested address, browser type, and status code.
Choices kept in your browser, not sent with every page view: the cookie-banner decision, and the language you select if you click EN, 中文, or IT.
We do not ask for passwords, payment card numbers, or identity document numbers on this website.
Purposes and legal bases
To answer an enquiry and to prepare a service: steps prior to a contract, and contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
To keep the site secure and to diagnose faults: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). You may object.
To remember the banner choice you make: consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Until you choose, we do not write that record.
To remember a language you explicitly click: we store it because you selected it, so the next visit can follow your choice instead of the device language.
Where data is stored
The website and its technical logs are hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany. We commit to storing this site's data in Europe.
Encryption, and no training use
We commit to the following: data for this website is stored in Europe; connections use HTTPS, which encrypts data in transit; hosting storage is encrypted at rest; your data is never used to train models.
Retention
Technical logs: up to 90 days, unless a security incident requires a longer hold.
Email correspondence: for as long as needed to handle the request and follow up, and not longer than 24 months, unless a contract or a legal duty requires longer.
The banner choice: until you withdraw it, or for 12 months, whichever comes first. A language you chose stays until you change it or clear it on the cookie page.
Processors
The site is hosted on Alibaba Cloud infrastructure in the Frankfurt region. The host processes technical logs on our instructions. We do not use an analytics provider on this website. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You may complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or to the authority in the EU country where you live.
